Greetings, Kim Possible Wiki.
I have recently joined this wiki, and after looking at the articles I have found that they are at most a wall of text. I will be removing unnecessary content from articles which don't need it. If you see that I have removed a large section of text, it is because it is near or moreso irrelevant.
This wiki needs to have some networking qualities sorted out, and I will help with that. It is crucial that an article contains no more information than it needs, and all the information is conformed to articles of its own. This error has been exemplified within the profiles of the main characters, and it is essential we network all extra information to their rightful articles.

It's Spring now, only a few more months until the Kim Possible short film hits the internet. Pre production has wrapped up and Production is underway! The film is really going strong, and a great cast has been cast to play some of our favorite characters. The producers at Finally Trying Productions are really really excited about this film and seeing some scenes we have written down come start to become fleshed out on camera is just incredible! Hi! We are Finally Trying Productions, the producers of the up and coming live action short film adaptation of Disney's "Kim Possible". We'd like to give you a little bit of a background of us.
Finally Trying Productions is comprised of three young, aspiring filmmakers: Austin Baur, Travis Carter, and Jackson Tarpley. Austin is a college film student, going through film school to hopefully someday make films for a living. Jackson Tarpley and Travis Carter are both finishing their Senior Year of high school, and are avid in the high school's video production program. Travis plans on going into the armed forces and Jackson is actively applying to film schools.

Just wanted everyone to know that we are now being promoted on the main page of Wikia. The promotional image was accepted and we can now be more easily found.

Well, I have been an admin for a little while now and the longer that I am an admin, the more that I find to update and do to improve the Kim Possible wiki.
I am currently focusing most of my efforts on standardizing and codifying policies, which I will discuss more later, and updating the look and feel of the wiki.
I have created new article infoboxes that have a more KP look and feel than the standard wiki infoboxes. I have also been working to create more striking and well designed headers for the information in the articles.
I recently discovered that the Kim Possible wiki has never submitted their Promote page to Wikia. I am working on outlining what we need to add to this so that we can start being promoted on Wiki's main page.

I've noticed over the four seasons of Kim Possible that Dr. Drakken and Ron Stoppable are very similar in many ways. The first of these is the lack of respect they both receive. Ron has been by Kim's side on almost every mission and even saved the day himself once or twice, and still most people, including the bulk of Kim's enemies are unable to remember his name. Dr Drakken is similarly underestimated when in So the Drama he came closer then any recurring character to conquering the world. The second big similarity is their brilliance. I am a big fan of Kim Possible and I have been hoping for a new season since the show ended 5 years ago until I finally gave up hope. Until rencently, I decided to rewatch the whole series again.
I understand why I really became hooked on the show all those years ago. And none of the new show really captivated my attention. In my opinion most of the new shows are not horrible. I really want Disney to bring back the show because I can still see there are still a lot of fans out there.

Earlier this month, Disney announced that Kim's final mission is coming to an end. This summer, the Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure will be replaced by Agent P's World Showcase Adventure at Epcot in Walt Disney World in Florida. Agent P is the agent name of Perry the Platypus, pet of the two stepbrothers in Phineas and Ferb.

Kim Possible is one of my favorite shows since I was a little kid, so when it was over I was really sad and started looking all over the internet about season 5. I know most of the shows end when the characters go to college, but I don' t understand why can't they show them on college. It wouldn't change that much, would it? They would have class, do homework, save the world and the other usual things, but this time they would live in college.

Though Ron and Kim know how unique naked mole rats are, or at least one in particular, the rest of us might not know anything about them. National Public Radio had a report yesterday about the completion of the genetic code for the naked mole rat. You can listen to the report and read it on the NPR site, but here's some of the highlights:
- Naked mole rats are cold-blooded, yet still mammals.
- They don't get cancer.
- They don't feel certain types of pain.
- They can live in low oxygen areas, like the tunnels they normally live in.
- They live for around 30 years.
So, now that the genome is mapped, what do they do with that info? Apply it to cancer and aging research, or other things like put genes in mices for study.

When I found this wiki in 2009, it has been unattended for a few years. It would be about another year before I decided to step forward and adopt this wiki so that it could be revived. Since then, I've been able to do some research and I think I know why Erased Paper abandoned the wiki.
During the last year he was active, he had to deal with about two dozen vandalism accounts, all trying to ruin the wiki. I don't know what started it and there's no point in even trying to figure out why. It was vandalism and we'll leave it at that. All of their messes have since been cleaned up.
However, one of those vandals is still showing up in the list of the people who have edited here the most. Eventually that list will go away, especially if I decide …

Well, folks, it finally happened. Disney Channel actually released one of their TV series on DVD. At the moment, Season 1 and Season 2 are available through the Disney Movie Club or from Amazon.com.
These are all the episodes for each season. Before these sets, iTunes was your best bet for getting the episodes, but I just learned that they are missing five episodes from seasons 1 and 2. iTunes is also missing A Sitch in Time as a movie. For some reason, you can buy the "Future" segment but not the "Present" or "Past" segments. The second DVD set has the three parts of A Sitch in Time, so it will be interesting to see if they are the original broadcast versions or if they have been edited to be more like the movie version.

I was watching an episode of Kim Possible that featured Henchco when I realized that it works well in the fictional world in general. Think about it, in other shows we see villains who aren't geniuses with various gadgets and weapons that fit their themes with no explanation on how they got those toys. The idea of a company that makes the weapons for villains, under the cover of "exotic defenses" for the rich and famous, makes perfect sense. Plus the incompetence of poser villains would give the company job security as they will keep coming back. I'm surprised more shows and works of fiction don't have such a group. As mentioned in my other blog, we need to do a lot of work on the episode pages in order to make them look like they aren't just copied from Wikipedia. Our new Manual of Style will help in the "De-Wikipedia-ing" of the pages.
Another step that has been taken to improve the episodes was to create a page for every episode, even if it's just a placeholder. Every episode has been added to the Episodes category and the appropriate Season category (Season 1, etc.). Those categories are now a part of our menu at the top of the page. If you click on the "Episodes" menu instead of waiting for its choices to appear, you will be taken to the Episodes category.

As you can see, there's some changes being made to the wiki. Since I wound up adopting it, I thought I'd signal its revival with a new logo and some updates to the main page.
I already have quite a bit to do on my other projects, so I'm not exactly sure what all the changes will be, nor how soon they will be put into place, but here's some to begin with:
- Determining how to handle fan fiction. Do we include it here in a separate section, or shall we let other sites like fanfiction.net handle it since they're already established?
- Standardizing the layout of each page, and introducing new layouts for characters, episodes, songs, locations, etc.
