When I found this wiki in 2009, it has been unattended for a few years. It would be about another year before I decided to step forward and adopt this wiki so that it could be revived. Since then, I've been able to do some research and I think I know why Erased Paper abandoned the wiki.
During the last year he was active, he had to deal with about two dozen vandalism accounts, all trying to ruin the wiki. I don't know what started it and there's no point in even trying to figure out why. It was vandalism and we'll leave it at that. All of their messes have since been cleaned up.
However, one of those vandals is still showing up in the list of the people who have edited here the most. Eventually that list will go away, especially if I decide to activate the Achievement Badges here which will generate more edits, but I'd like to see if we can push that user off the list. It will take 18 registered users making at least 50 edits each to kick that person out of the list. For some of the people who have been editing here recently, they would need only about another 20 or 30 edits to reach that goal.
Fifty edits may sound like a lot, but that can be reached by making a lot of small edits. Fix typos, add a sentence or two, add a picture, etc. I'm not going to be picky about the quality of the edits. As long as they aren't vandalism, spam or anything else that warrants a block, they should be fine.
So, if you've got some time, help this wiki reach a goal on its way back to revival. – RRabbit42 (leave a message) 05:35, April 7, 2011 (UTC)
